I think I found my problem. The Secrocyte is affecting my phagocyte similar to how cyanide does. Is this intended, and if so what should I do to get around this?

Welp, I've made some progress. Can't get my eggs to split. I've never really used lipocytes as eggs. Any tips?

I dont have beta, but if you want to use lipocyte as eggs, try lowering its split mass to like 1.53 ng or something lower. Maybe that helps

I've done some tweaking, and it will reproduce although very slowly due to the way in doing it. I wish there was an option in the substrate editor to make it to where I can simulate this to evolve my cells.

I'm at the point where I'm asking for a genome. I know what to do. I know how to do it. But it's not working. If any kind souls out there will give me a genome so I can beat this challenge and finally be able to use gametes, I will thank you.

Both approaches, a. Keratinocytes placed between Phagocyte and Secrocyte and b. maximizing the adhesin length between Phago and Secro are viable for this challenge. I find the second approach more efficient. For reproduction I always keep a new egg attached to the parent until it splits off. Setting the max adhesin parameter of the birthing cell helps controlling the process.

Tip:

"I suggest that you use the normal 4-celled linear layout and let the Keratinocyte give off offsprings. Phagocyte should have a higher nutrient priority and the eggs should be dominant on one side. Making them split in one run (like no eating at all) is advisable for the organism.."
