This can be fixed by using a salinity of 0.80 instead of 1.00

Hm, I can't solve it with just a Phagocyte. Eventually they die off way before 1000h are reached. Are you making any adjustments? I've tried a few, none worked.

Ive done some testing
There is a small Chance that they complete it
Mostly they survive 400-750 Hours
I already made a Substrate without any Chance for them to survive more than 75 hours
I will post it later

It's just luck
Usually the Phagocytes die very fast
But some get lucky and replicate
I don't think it needs to be fixed

Praizmlet has found a pretty reliable way to solve this challenge in the current CL version in an unintended way with just Phagocytes. I think this might warrant an update after all. I know the difficulty is already high otherwise, but I think it would be the right move in this case. What do you think?

Use 0.8 salinity instead 1.0 salinity is a very good solution to this
I tried to use geyser racer in the same substrate but with 0.8 salinity and the substrate died under of 10 second in incubation state
But i dont know if the default myocyte genome to solve this works (because im a beginner in the game, idk the genome used to solve Move it)

Actually 0.9 salinity should do

Praizmlet's phagocyte-only organism is quite clever! I don't think 0.9 salinity would be low enough to defeat a highly optimized version of it; here is a slightly-evolved descendant living at 0.9 salinity fairly well. It's likely to die out in a few hundred hours, but can hold 100 cells for a good while: https://www.dropbox.com/s/b0az1mlb8onrc ... trate?dl=0
What's worse, I tried my challenge-winning smart organism at 0.9 salinity, and it died, unable to maintain over 50 cells for more than a couple hundred hours (though it can maintain 200-400 cells at max salinity): https://www.dropbox.com/s/gy4k1n6ustb57 ... enome?dl=0
Perhaps instead of decreasing salinity, the challenge objective should be higher than 50 cells. The food bits are huge here, so any moderately efficient smart organism has no excuse for holding fewer than 100 cells, in my estimation. Even 200 may not be too much to ask for.
If nothing else, the phagocyte-only organism is a good unintended solution. I wonder if something similar might also work in "Flat Earth", given the easy mobility and rich nutrients there.
