to sovle this challenge, i did set geome as below :
m1(victim photocyte)
m2(virocyte) - initial, copy from m2, copy to m1
i thought virocyte will copy its genome and deform victim into virocyte.
but suddenly victim cells were modified into phagocyte and the phagocyes encircle virocytes.
so virocytes failed to infect entire photocytes.
how can i deal with this problem?..

It's usually not a good idea to copy from one mode to a different mode. It's much easier to copy from one mode to the same mode.
In fact, in the next version that will be the only option. The Virocyte will get simpligied so that you cannot copy to different modes anymore.

i tried again with m1 virocyte which is set as "copy from m1 to m1" and it worked!Alast wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 2:26 pm It's usually not a good idea to copy from one mode to a different mode. It's much easier to copy from one mode to the same mode.

but i still did not understand how virocyte infects other cells

i did think that "copy from" means inserting a gene i want and "copy to" means specifying a victim cell.
and it seems i was wrong

No, that's pretty much it in a nutshell. Did you go through the tutorial on Virocytes? There's also good and comprehensive explanations on this forum in General Didcussions.
