Hey, thanks for posting the youtube version . The split is quite unique, is it intentional or accidental? Reminds me of Megathosto's larva from how much adhesin connection it has. Cool creation, I think it should live in a bigger plate

It is meant to be natural split, when it is too big that it can't stablize some sectors in the middle.
But just for the demonstration purpose, needed to kill them manually.. :>

It has an interesting behavior
that its head would like to stick on the wall most of the time
and fly off for other side of the wall with rich-er nutritions.
Which was unexpected and accidental from the first time, but that is the part what I like the most with this one.
Also, it will mostly bend to the opposite side of the movement progression!
Which is due to the physical inflation making the volume
difference for each side.
Yeah, remained me of bwisialow giant centipedes and my larvae. But my larvae is not stable enough like this one. Love seeing it 'dancing' around and seek for food.
I would really be cool if it search food with it mouth + mobile food + keratin around its body. Wonder if this doable and will it be able to grow to the same lenght as this?

you were asking about eating through the mouth? i am actually working on a creature that can do that, but also has a stomach to store any excess food it obtains. i might be able to create a simple one you could use
