I made a "fish" species with two separate genders. Males make blue eggs, females make pink/purple eggs. The eggs float to the bottom of the substrate, where they create new fish that float up.
There are some problems with gender inequality, there are more males then females. I'm not sure why, but would love to see if someone could provide a solution.
I guess i found the reason of gender inequality.
A female organism is only born when a male gamete is bigger than a female gamete.
If there are more males, the gametes on the floor are mostly male and small because they lose energy so more males are born, therefore more males→more males.
Well, the answer is very simple.
The nutrient priority of gametes is not same. M7>M8
When the gametes is bigger than others, it will keep the adhesive connection and it also decides the mode after fertilization.
