How the heck does a virocyte work
How the heck does a virocyte work
No matter how much I try, nothing works. I lost my patience. I just need to know how this little sucker works and I'll finally be in peace
Re: How the heck does a virocyte work
Virocyte has only one setting - Copy gene to. It defines from where and to where the virus will be copied.
For example you have a cell with such a genome:
M1 -> M2 -> M3 -> M4 -> M5
and a virus with this genome and "copy gene to" = 2:
M1 -> M2 -> M3 -> M4 -> M5
when this virus infects a cell it overwrites 3 generations of genes (M2, it's children and grandchildren) with its 3 generations of genes and we receive a cell with this genome:
M1 -> M2 -> M3 -> M4 -> M5
(notice that in this example M2 divides into M3 and M3 divides into M4
the virus would have infected M5 if M3 divided into M5 instead of M4)
